I forgot about the reverse lights... the stock ones literally lights nothing. At night time with the reverse cam.... there's no difference in having a light there. I hope that LED help a lot.

I had the 50w version in my F30. At night, there was such a massive improvement... It made the somewhat pointless rear camera actually useful

https://www.horizonleds.co.uk/cree-l...5-cree-led-50w

So I ordered these ones but the ones I recieved were the 60w, 2020 version as good will. Before you order, maybe contact them and ask for the 60w ones.

On the highway, driving softly, and got a Drivetrain Warning. Got home without issue. When off highway and idling, it felt like a misfire. Got home and my obd said it cylinder 7 misfire. As I was planning to change our plugs and coils, it looked like now was the time.
Was a PITA on the S63. Can’t access the 4 most aft cylinders without ‘releasing’ the DME units on each side. Took me a lot longer than I thought. Finished just now.
Result not good.
I am very careful and methodical. I’ve been doing significant work on my cars/trucks forever.
Finished the job, started up and ran even rougher. OBD says multiple random misfires.
Bosch coils. BMW M plugs.

Went back in.
Complete dissection.
Each coil was completely down on the plug and lip around channel covered.
Each coil connected, and closed as it should be.
Each plug in on torque I left it at. Each plug recess clean and dry.
All wires and electrical connections in the work zone.
Nothing was amiss.
The only thing I had done differently on this BMW’s coil/plug change versus the others was to spray some Deoxit on the female connectors on the manifold. The harness connectors surface was dry.
It is my belief that the Deoxit oxidizer and conductivity enhancer did in fact form contact bridges between the three contacts, hence the multiple random misfiring.
Nothing else could explain it.
This was my bad.
I have used various configurations of Deoxit on my cars electrical connections for many years. It is really a highly rated product. I used a quick spray of the 5 % Deoxit on the female harness, whereas I should’ve taken the time to slowly use the micro dropper for the 95 % Deoxit liquid into each female receiver. I did think about for a split second, but said ‘Nah, it’ll be alright...’
Just a follow up/update.

Took a quarantine drive to get some fluids moving through her. Been about a month since the last drive, (have her on a battery tender) but I miss her so much...

Warmup around the neighborhood, and then a pedal to the floor interstate on-ramp and back country launch control run... forgot how big my grin is able to get, and how uncontrollable my laugh can be...

THAT.... IS .... SO.... COOL!

I had no idea they even existed... isn’t it funny how perspective changes? $100 for some center caps that are always upright, but like you said, after a grand on standard maintenance, (plugs aren’t cheap), what’s an extra $100?

sorry if a dumb question... what’s the button/menu option to look for in User CP to upload a killer banner like yours? Looks amazing.

yeah it's in your signature... it also say that : "The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 78.1 KB (whichever is smaller).
"

so that's the crop shape of the photo you need to make it to
