The G01 X3 really needs the leather dash and the Individual leather trim to raise its interior quality. My wife’s has both and it’s nice, but I don’t think the Individual trim is offered in the iX3 (at least not in Australia).

Ugh. Time to go with Mercedes I guess. At least their designs are classy.

No one outside of BMW has seen the NA5 design. Either you work for BMW and are a traitor, or you have no basis for making this judgment.

Especially the iDrive 10, that solid state battery, more efficiency, more range, faster charging, perhaps 800 volt architecture will make it killer platform.

Also, they are probably going to launch a car which will not get obsolete for hardware or software reasons for good time to come.

I know for sure MB is aiming for that with MMA and MBOS architecture cars.

For all these reasons older iX will drop like fly in prices. Also, a lot of folks will be returning their leased iX and that will result in even more competition to sell all these obsolete 2023/2024 iX models.

The values won’t drop like flies but yes it will effect them, people often over estimate value falls, but the reality is most of the people who buy cars are not car nerd experts and do not visit forums and are happy with a car that isn’t the latest thing if it offers better vfm than new models. I spent two decades valuing used premium cars and setting RVs so have seen it all.

Also don’t rule out the new classe cars having teething issues as they will be even more tech advanced than the current cars which have enough tech issues of their own…

Let’s see what they actually bring first

They have zero history in EV’s
Indeed and their cars are extremely unreliable, I have some experience with them, even the hand picked cars they sent us to test would break down

Major thanks to ynguldyn for this thread. Subscribed to it as a result. i and many look forward to any/all future information you can find and share on the Neue Klasse.
