F06 competition Bootmod3 93oct stock
Has anyone tuned their f06 competition bone stock for octane 93?
Asking since the competition model has its own factory tune and wondering if it would be a step back or any noticeable difference? Any feedback appreciated - still on the fence … |

yes tune it. base model to competition tune is hardly noticeable, biggest difference is the steering and suspension. Flash tune is very big difference compared to comp

I did the stage 1 then went stage 2 with catless downpipes & plugs, then stage 3 with WMI. I'd say stock to stage 1 was a good jump then 1-2 not that noticeable, then 2-3 a good jump.

HUGE jump in power, make sure you tell your tuner your car is a comp model So many options do your research, safest most usable power I suggest ess. And they don't bend you over in price, for some off the shelf tune they haven't updated in a decade |

Also, I had no signs of clutch slippage in stage 2 but did upgrade to the SSP clutches for DME's stage 3 |

So those that have comp package for example f06 which stock tune is recommended for 93 octane and it is worth it? Some pics or guides welcomed sorry first time with these mods… |
