The front end was designed with a ruler.

We went from big triangles to big squares. Can't wait to see big circles on the M2C. I feel like I'm in fourth grade geometry all over again.

I mean it's not TERRIBLE but I wouldn't go as far as to say it (subjectively) looks good.

Nice work but unlikely to look like this. Doesn't match the leaked bumper pictures which, unfortunately or not, are probably the real deal. Also since I'm guessing at things - I think there will be some sort of grille work under the bumper in the center and maybe something on the sides as well.

BMW these days is so confused... their iconic grille has been reduced to a 'throw everything at the wall and see what sticks'

Horizontal slats, vertical slats, honeycomb
triangle elements, then straight line elements
center joined grille, separated grille

No it does not look good, passable sure, but it is not classy, it is not pretty, it is inconsistent

Hard to argue with this. People can like all the new shapes, argue that they have to move into the future, things like that. But - yeah, there is no apparent corporate direction right now. You could find a half dozen of BMW's current cars and put them next to each other and a normal person wouldn't identify the brand today, like they could just a few years ago.

The shrinking of the headlights makes it look off.

The design of the car is just confused. The front end of the M3 makes more sense than this.

Looks like shit IMHO.

I think the new m240i is a pretty good looking car. I was hopeful that the new M2 would look even better. Instead, they took several steps in the wrong direction. Much like the G20 vs G80.
