18 Hour Road Trip. Podcast or Books on Tape Suggestions?

Like the title says, I've got a solo 18 hr west coast road trip next week and thought you might have some suggestions on audio entertainment. Anything out there you found interesting to help pass the miles and time?
Thanks!

THE MOMENT. Great Interviews. A little lefty political slant but doesn't interfere with the show. Interview is the author of "Billions" TV show.

Bill Bryson a Short History of Nearly Everything. Audiobook. Good enough to listen to twice. I think it’s about five hours of listening.

I also like American History audiobook like ‘1776’. think about 11 hours.

I listen to audiobooks on all of my road trips and they are great at keeping me awake and alert. I have already been on a 36 hour road trip and a 31 hour road trip this year.

Really depends on what books you like, but if you find it interesting it doesn't really matter if it is "calm".

I second this! Paul and Todd are great. Perfect road trip podcast.

The other podcast I listen to religiously is The Smoking Tire podcast. If you can get over Matt Farrah and his occasional valley girl speak, you'll enjoy this.

Im a fan of 5 hr energy vs coffee for longer trips - less need to stop for bathroom breaks. +1 for Joe Rogan. SiriusXM is great regardless, if you have it.

We listened to the new book by James Patterson called, "The Summer House". Excellent story about a bunch of people who get murdered at a summer home in a small coastal town. The narrator was really good.
