Coding issue with vgate icar2 won't connect

Guys I bought one of these vgate icar2 WiFi so I place it in the connector and here is my issue/

I'm using the bimmercode app....

When I connect it via WiFi it shows the device on my phone but bimmercode can't find it and won't connect .... also no Bluetooth device shows up on my phone when I try to search for Bluetooth....

What am I doing wrong ? Please help

You know you need to pay for app right ?

I know that but what good is paying for it if I can't even connect the dongle ?

It says in the app that the vgate Icar WIFI versions are no longer compatible with the app due to a hardware change in the adapter. However, the bluetooth version of the adapter would still work.

Secondly, since you clearly said you bought the Vgate WIFI, how are you expecting to have a BLUETOOTH signal?

Do you know any other apps that will work with the WiFi signal? I figured Bluetooth would work since there is a Bluetooth logo on the actual device and the box ......

Open app click on settings bottom right of the screen , when you open on the top of the screen needs to say CODING IS UNLOCKED !!!! Then connect to WiFi then to adapter
