I do. It sits most of the week and only used on the weekends. I use BMW charger on my current 18 650 GC and the previous 09 650 coupe. Never had to change the battery in 7 years. Nice car!

Sure do. I only drive mine in the summer so it sits parked all through the winter. I use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GENIUS2-.../dp/B07W6B987F

Thanks for all of the nice reply’s....It is the nicest car I’ve ever had......
Now I need to go learn how to drive it....not sure I understand the shift lever....and do you need to activate the Park or emergency brake each time you end the drive.....read the book many times....I guess you just have to feel your way thru it...... |

The gear shifter is easy, when starting knock it to the right to go forwards or to the left and away from you for reverse.
Then never touch it again! When turning the car off just leave it in whatever position it is in and shut the engine off - pull up the park brake button too. There is no need to shift it into neutral when stopping. If you do it will pop up a warning on the dash but if you press the engine start button again without having a foot on the brake it will shut down |

The next useful thing to do is to program the M1 and M2 buttons to be manual only for both and MDM in M2

Will allow a controlled amount of traction loss, changes the driving characteristics. I first drove the car enough to get used to the traction/handling characteristics before messing around with turning traction to down/MDM/off. Also depending on your experience with 600bhp rear drive cars, ensure your tires are checked and up to operating temps. The car is yours now, take the time to learn how it behaves under difference driving conditions and enjoy it |

Thank you for the advise......today is the day I get to drive the M6 and can’t wait to experience the different items you have talked about.....
I have lots of experience driving high hp cars at speed ...but each one is different....this should be fun.... |

What a kick in the pants....this M6 with the Aka exhaust sounds like a formula 1 motor....
The mistake I made was hitting the Start/Stop Auto Button.....and the motor stopped....then I pushed the lever to the right and it went to 1st gear....but the motor was off.....then when I let off of the brake the motor stared....but I had pushed the throttle down to far and it klunked and jumped about 2 feet.....I thought I was going to run over 5he guy in front of me....Wowwww....now I know....didn’t know how that Start/Stop button got pushed....but experience is a great teacher..... |
