2010 X3 Troubles

Hi All!

Please excuse any confusion as I am very new to this app and owning a bmw

I was gifted a 2010 X3 and had been driving it for about 6 months until a couple weeks ago when I was driving down the road and it slowly died on me.

So far it can’t be the battery or fuel pump as I had the battery tested and can hear the fuel pump engaging when turning the key on.

When having my battery tested they charged it so in hopes that it was the issue I hooked it back up and tried to start it again, it sounds like it wants to turn over but isn’t.
(side note it’s been in the negatives where I live if that could have any impact)
(it also has about 180,000 miles on it)

The newest car I owned prior was a 2001 toyota so imagine my surprise when I went to check the oil and there was no dipstick😂

That being said I have absolutely no clue where to start and would love any pointers!
