you could purchase a new set of machined waste gates and apply the fix for them, honestly not worth it though with the labor thats involved. if you gut your oem cats and use those, you will hear the noise less, since the oe cats are double walled.
I wrapped my DPs in DEI heat wrap and it reduced the noise a little, but still audible upon decel. |

When I had the factory downpipes and exhaust I heard nothing , when I had factory downpipes with Full Meistershaft exhaust I started to hear the rattle it wasn’t too noticeable unless I was next to something and slightly revving it I heard the rattle , when I went catless is when it got very noticeable especially right before stopping , but only with the windows down windows up I hear no rattle .
I have cold start delete so on the first start I can hear the wastegate rattle but when I hit sport+ button it disappears,I guess the wastegates tighten up and move closer to the turbo housing that lessen the rattle . Btw the rattle doesn’t bother me because I know it’s normal for this car but it would be nice if there was none, I wouldn’t change it for anything because that glorious sound of the turbos is so intoxicating |

there is a solution for the rattle, just in my opinion not worth the hassle to remove both turbos, replace the wastegate flap, make sure the wastegates are adjusted properly, etc. on these cars the rattle happens and hasnt caused any issues other than annoyances.

I don't think it sounds that bad on a gutted OEM DP. Admittedly I don't know what I'm supposed to be hearing. Based on some of the description by others, it should be a fairly loud rattle. Let me know the minute:seconds when you hear it.

Black Friday is right around the corner. They always go on sale but nothing beats pre-owned prices. I'd say $1500 brand new is a good price.
