123k miles here. 2015 640i LCI gc. Bought car at 98k miles early 2021. Got my first drive train error around 118k miles march 2022. Ewg not closing properly. Ordered a Honeywell part because I read elsewhere of success with them. I'm actually really pleased. And only losing 1 litre of oil every 4000miles. No major problems. Standard maintenance. Front brakes and pads (genuine BMW) is only thing "major" done.

99k miles and counting. Reaching milestone 100k in a couple of weeks. Not much issues during my 3 months of ownership (3k miles) other than an aircon pipe replacement, aircon gas recharge, and topping up of coolant.

My valve cover gasket started leaking the other week, noticed some nice smoke coming from back left area. Im at 125k miles now. Just replaced gasket only myself with Genuine Bmw (it was stamped Mahle on it for reference). Car is 7 years and a few months old now. Hardest part of the job was trying not to break anything plastic. Very pleased all ok now

144k daily driven miles. It's been tuned since 70k by the guys over at auto couture motoring in New Jersey and maintained by a local mechanic here in PA. And, the car has just been great. A few gremlins when it comes to the front passenger door. But other than that, no issues.
Based on other BMW's I've had, there's a few things I want to replace before they go and leave me stranded somewhere. Like the fuel pump, alternator, expansion tank and the starter. Those are things I can do in my garage in a few hours. I love the car and I'm going to keep it as my daily until it stops running. |

73k. My a/c was fixed under warranty. The typical brakes. Oil change, and every Beemer I have had they always have a mysterious oil leak after a few oil changes. I do have the upgraded leather package, and my leather dash board (not vinyl) has come apart, up towards the windshield. I have to replace the whole dashboard. It cannot be repaired.

Not really high mileage, but I have done a bit of work on my 2013 640i GC.
Currently around 45,000 miles. I purchased it in March of 2022 with 40K miles. The car had been driven very little in the last 3 years with the previous owner, and sat in a warehouse for about a year. Repairs Replaced the AGM battery after failure Both rear struts (left was leaking, but replaced both) Accessory belt and tensioner. (belt went out, and replaced the tensioner at the same time) Left rear speed sensor Hood struts Maintenance Oil and filter change New NGK plugs New Coil Packs Upgrades VRSF Intercooler Speed Factory Billet Charge pipe Burger Motorsports Air Intake MHD Stage 2, 93 Octane tune Next on the list is transmission service, and maybe a catless downpipe so I can get to stage 2+. Need more rubber on the road, so new wider rims for better traction is also on the list. |
