These were KW springs and the real drop was 30mm (max) in front and 30mm in the rear axle.

just chiming in on the spacers... I tried 2 different sizes from 3 different and most popular companies... no matter what I tried, anytime with spacers in the front, I'd get steering vibration at around 70+mph.
So i left the rears on and just took the fronts off. Look wise, the fronts actually doesn't need em.

What size rears did you go with? Not a bad idea on rears only

Yep, this is what I've heard as well. Hence has been my delay.

question: it appears that the wheel vibration would be due to an imbalance to the rim & spacer that is shown at higher speed. Would rebalancing the wheel accounting for the additional spacer weight resolve this? Unsure how the tire balancer would be able to account for it though as they are two separate pieces.

i tried 12mm first... then I ended with 10mm. they fit perfectly flushed. and when I will go 305 on the rears... they won't look like a monster truck.

I don't know.. I had tried to get it balanced multi times. I tried scrubbing and cleaning the hub of all rust, and dirt.. tried different brands of spacers everything i read that could possibly fix the vibration.

And at the end... the answer I get from many members and shops are the same "With spacers, you're just gonna have a little bit of shake at some point at high speed."

Looking good! Working on getting a set of 10mm for the rears to start. Let's see how it looks prior to the fronts. Now to get someone to install during the madness of COVID

Im starting to look also, let me know what you end up with. Maybe a dumb question, but do they need longer bolts

Yep they do, the good ones come with them

all of mine came with longer bolts. and you don't need anyone to "install" them. you just take the wheel off and put them on.

which brand is best to go with for long lasting quality hopefully. I would like a set of 10 and 12 mm spacers and bolts

For sure don't "need" anyone to install them, but current living situation doesn't have me in proximity to tools/jack/lift.

Seems like the macht schnell are popular, im looking also.

I have BMS spacers 10mm up front and 12mm rears. I have never had any vibration and have been running them for almost a year. They came with extended lugs as well

that's right... I don't think my M6 comes with a little jack kit.
