Idiot Proof?

I left my trunk lid open all night and feared that the battery would have died, but she started right up. Perhaps the trunk light goes out on its own after a certain amount of time? Anybody know about this?

I suspect it's partially due to the car and partially due to the AGM battery. I once left my door open all night. I decided to recharge the battery the next day and the indicators showed that the battery was still strong. I recommend you buy a trickle charger and charge your battery back up. This episode definitely decreased your battery life.

btw, why do you keep posting pictures of your call on every post? The pic is WAY too big on a HD monitor. it's annoying bc I have to scroll to read you entire post.

You can create a signature that has your car info and its pic...which will appear in all of your posts. This does come in handy for others that may be answering your post because if they have to look up info....your model/model year/ build date info is handy...and if others are searching topics and your posts come up...they will know if your questions, fixes, solutions, etc apply to them.

If you click on the USER CP link at the top of the page...look along the left side of the page for EDIT SIGNATURE. This is where you can type your car's info and post a pic. Albeit...you'll need to reduce the size of your image. You can't have a sig pic with a resolution as high as your original pic (anything over 800x600 is going overboard...and I believe your orig pic was in the 1000s. If memory serves correct...I believe sig pic need to be around 200x200...if it's less or more, the site will let you know when you go to upload the image you want to use for your sig pic.

I doubt it did much of any damage (draining) to your battery - many modern cars will put components to sleep after a while of no activity (e.g. proximity of key or ignition).

I actually appreciated the pic, for what it's worth - who doesn't love seeing a beautiful 6GC!
