X-Pipe, Center Resonator Delete. Need some help.

Hi Guys,

Now that I've installed an Eisenmann Race Exhaust on my Alpina B6 GC, I want to remove the center resonator and replace it with an x-pipe. I prefer not to buy the expensive (for what it is) Supersprint X-Pipe, and I am looking into a standard x-pipe that can be bolted or welded in place.

Does anyone here know the pipe diameter of the exhaust section where the center resonator is located? Is it 2.5"?

Here's a pic under my car for reference, but I assume it's the same as the 650i GC exhaust. I want to replace that large resonator in the center with something like this:

Standard X-Pipe
