Pot hole

Hit a giant pothole yesterday. Bubbled the left front tire. Sigh. Tires have about 23k out of 40k so I guess I’ll just replace them both and save the right one for a spare. Annoying.

Some states if hole reported prior have a complaint form you can fill out and get reimbursed...

Did it three time in six years on three cars...on my way home from work depending on traffic you can’t dodge it. Today ironically I notice a six foot by four foot raised patch on it. Lots of cars over the years pulled over with flats.

First time it happened to me, pulled the trigger to get rid of RFTs and have been trouble free for 2.5 years!

I had to replace 4 new tires, suspension parts, and front bumper after hitting a giant pot hole. Used my insurance to cover the costs..

I looked into that. Turns out that LA pays only 10% of pothole damage claims.

These are non-run flats. Replacing them was the best decision of my 6 ownership.
