as the title suggests, perhaps not that bigger issue for our US friends as you can take more drastic protective steps than here in the UK, car theft in the UK is becoming the norm, 3 attempts over the last 8weeks during the early hours, last week was another attempted break, 3 wks ago my brother was followed home at 4pm by 4 masked men who broke down the front door with Iron bars after his M3 CS, whats the solution to all of this madness ??

Here in PA, we have the right to use force (yes, with firearms) to protect both person and property. I don't think I need to tell you that violent crime and property theft are very low in my area. Regretfully, for you fellas across the pond that ship has sailed.

Are there gun LAWS? Crikey! Dude, they banned and confiscated firearms years ago, and now that violent crime has spiked with other methods like knives, members of Parliament are actually suggesting they ban knives, or have a permitting process to buy kitchen cutlery. They've truly gone off the map over there. Shame, really. Let's be sure we don't let that happen here.

This is a misleading statement. There's not a jury in the US that'll let you off for shooting an unarmed robber or to protect property. You'll have a hell of a time convincing anyone shooting an unarmed person was justified.

Maybe install a spy cam inside. The thing is that you cannot impede the car theft. Unfortunately
