I think you should be able to log in regardless of the specific host/section. I just logged into each individual forum (2er, i3/8, etc.) and saved the password so no matter what is shared I'm always logged in.

They must also be using a linked user account database under the covers. I never tried to login to any of the other sites, since I have no interest in posting to any of them. Good to know, though!!!!!

When using the app I can access and post in any of the forum sections with a single login. I can see and post in the breakfast, lunch and dinner threads. Just need a midnight snack thread now!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that is the situation. I rarely roam to the other model specific forums but did recently only because a thread that was ongoing in this particular OT forum was moved by a moderator to the 5er forum. So when I went to that forum a while back I was unable to post anything. However, it simply requires you to log in with your existing credentials and works like normal after that. I have no idea why the forums are set up that way but that appears to be the case.

For the record I'm generally over on the G20/22/26 forum but spend time on this OT forum too as many of you know. I never paid much attention to this until reading this conversation but I seem to be coming to this OT area via "g20.bimmerpost.com". I guess everyone is linked from other model specific forums?
