Software update

Someone posted on here how to find software update for your 6 series. When I went to that site, it said I had an update. Now I can't find the website. Can someone share this with me?

So I'm curious... How does it know "Your BMW is up to date"?

Truthfully, I don’t know that it knows your “” up to date, it does however indicate if a new update has been posted for your vehicle type by Vin. Mine has updated a couple of times, I’m fairly certain it’s just a little behind the scenes Bluetooth handshake data between car and the latest gen mobile devices.

Probably 3G module pushes the current firmware version to the BMW system.
Similar how the dealers get a notification when your car is due for service.

Hmm. Well, my whenever I try to add connected drive I get an error that says cellular service has been disabled. Tried opening a case with customer care but never got a response.

never need any gadgets, like phones for music etc,checked anyway and say's mine is up to date
