Santa stocking stuffer, easy diy install.

- using a thin small flathead screwdriver pry the oval plate on the shifter. Found that the top most section can be lifted away much easier as the bottom area has a tiny recess.

- using the #T7 torx remove the single screw holding the shifter in place.

- clean the leather bevel that meets flush with the shifter as that area is now exposed and ideal to wipe down.

- disconnect the plastic retainer and pcb board with led apart from each other - they are loose and easily come apart.

- replace everything back in reverse order... once you are ready to stick the new oval plate on the new carbon shifter take note that you want to insert it bottom side first and at has a slight recess and then allows you to pop the rest in without force. Then press firmly so the double sided tape is engaged properly.
