Hi fellow 6ers have anyone ever attempt or is it even possible to mod the sunroof to actually open not just tilt?

Not allowing the sunroof to fully open is an oversight i think! If Mercedes can do it i'm sure BMW can!

Any engineers here willing to have a crack? From the way it tilts of the body i don't think the glass effects the structural integrity.

Seriously guys? Your talking about basically pulling the roof apart, installing tracks and mechanical parts on top of the electronics to run it all. That's not a mod, nor is it reasonable.

Bmw must've done this to maintain the roofline and headroom, and i was appalled it didnt open

Many car manufacturers have done it including bmw with x5 and other models with dual glass etc will b nice to have it open
