What do you do to prevent sliding? How did you find exact size? |

Currently my fave pic of my M6, lowered on H&Rs. Waiting to get my Vorsteiner VFF-103 wheels installed!

Hi all - new member here. Wanted to post a couple pics here.
The first is of the F06 650i xDrive I got back in April of this year. I loved that car, and I should have joined the forum to show it off before! However it got stuck in a storm surge on a low lying road back in August and the engine got flooded. Geico totaled it. (Sorry for the bad crop - it was a photo of my two loves, wife and car, before I edited for you all ) Having only had this lovely machine for a few months, I needed to replace it in kind or upgrade. And since Geico ended up paying me more than I paid for the 650i, I decided to upgrade to an F06 M6: As incredible as the 650i was, the M6 is even more so. Looking forward to putting a lot of miles on her Glad to finally be a part of this community - have learned a ton from lurking. You guys are all awesome. |

Great upgrade from 650 to M6! Would love to check some day how M6 drives. I have 650xi from a couple of days and it's amazing, especially after changing from E90 320i.

First photo was taken next to one of the gates (now abandoned) of the former McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company, more notably, where the F4 Phantom was manufactured for many years.

The M6 is great, but I had no complaints about my 650 when I got it. I also went from an E90 (08 328xi) to the 650, so was a huge bump in power, handling, comfort, luxury, etc. etc. etc.!

I'm thinking of doing the same, especially on the small white panel between the front of the sunroof and the windshield |

I've really liked the 6 series gran coupe since I sat in one 7 years ago. I didn't ever think I would own one though! Yet here I am with my 2014 640d M Sport.
I'm usually quite sensible and will think about 100 "what ifs" before I commit to anything that's likely to cost money however I think we are coming to a point with cars and the move to electric where vehicles like this are just not going to exist anymore, so I am taking my chance while I can! I love how the GC looks, it's kind of ugly but in a really good way, like a shark almost I guess! (just me? ok ) I'm not a petrolhead by any means but christ this thing is fast, it's way beyond anything else I've ever driven or am likely to drive again. Gotta admit one thing I do currently miss from my outgoing Lexus IS300h F-Sport is the keyless entry, now that's a first world problem... |
