Just did it again, took off from maybe 60-90, came on and then gone in 5 seconds. Someone mentioned a sensor, maybe from down pipe getting hot? I have no idea. So maybe I need a transmission cooler or ssp spec r clutches Just curious what the cause may be? Car is new to me so I’m open to suggestions Last edited by 20comp8; 01-16-2022 at 03:17 PM.. |

As a side note as well following the above as far as WOT will also save you from bending a rod in the lower gears…. Last edited by Mhaus; 01-18-2022 at 03:41 PM.. |

Look at Deka clutches as an option. There are folks on the 5 and 6 forums that have recently had some problems with their ssp clutches. The team at Evolve also started using deka. Clutches are in my future as well and I'll likely have my TCU tuned as well.

Getting SSP clutches. Not sure what the issue is here, but I feel better having them than not. Will also ask the shop about the tune. Anyone done a cooler on theirs?

You can upgrade the pan, BMS sells a high cap billet model that should assist with cooling slightly.
