Drivers/software updates

Today I checked my F06 with ISTA+ and saw that last updates where made in 2018. Since then there are plenty of newer updates (last from 2020) for engine, transmission, KAFAS, NBT, even for a sunroof :-)

Is it a good idea to update all of them? I'm a bit afraid that it's gonna bring more damage than good.

It won’t hurt to be up to date, but make sure you do it right)

Thanks, I'll try tomorrow. I wonder if the behaviour of engine and transmission changes after upgrade.

Do you research before updating, sufficient power supply is a must, and sometimes enet cable can cause problems, so icom with router is the safest way

I've got a 2016 640 and I supposedly have the most updated version of software according to BMW, which I don't believe.

Yeah, there was plenty of updates from 2020, however I don't feel any difference beyond peace of mind :-)
