Picking up my 2018 M6 GC in the next 1-2 weeks, what is the best route to get CarPlay added to this car?

If I'm not mistaken 2018 have carplay

you can buy it from the connected drive store, I had the option my 2018 model

You could buy it straight from the connected drive store. It is a one off lifetime buy. I did the same and it would not invalidate your warranty

I got my money back after the car play constantly kept cutting out, its never been de-activated

Ok, got my connected drive, the opening menu says that CarPlay is available in the 2018 M6 GC.

But when I access the screen to purchase it says it is Not Available for my car.

Anyone have any insight.

Why don't you try and and buy it from a connected drive website for your car

It would show whether it is available for your car and if it does and you buy. it might take up to 24 hours to appear on your idrive.
