And yeah, I know how you feel. When I picked up the car it was missing the (2) little AC knob covers in the back seat. Just knowing they were missing drove me crazy, even though I never looked back there. Spent $60 just to get the little dial covers that nobody cared about but me... Still, hope you like it! I was debating on the crosshairs myself. Leo. |

The only thing you do is pop the OEM black cap (that has the little arrows) and this knob/wheel slides over the existing piece. Then you secure the new cap with double-sided tape. Takes less than 5 minutes once you know how to pop the original cap off. Leo. Last edited by xxTHIR13ENxx; 07-03-2019 at 08:41 AM.. |

try double sided tape or chewing gum stick and pull, may come off.

So I got the knob and replaced it in my 528i.
In terms of its appeal, it looks better because it's bigger & cleaner. But I wouldn't put it in my M5 or M6. It's not the same as a large factory-mm button. I would consider it too cheap to put in a car of that prestige; I would be fine with the smaller knob, or just dropping 1k on the real thing. |

Better than factory
Personally I think it looks better than factory, I like the logo on the knob.
