The Cold Blue

In keeping with the D-Day remembrance is a great documentary being shown on HBO about what it was like for Bomber crews flying from England to bomb targets in Europe.
It consists of outakes from the original film "Memphis Belle" and its very worthwhile, especially if your grandfather (or in my case father) experienced combat at 30,000 feet during World War ll.

The Memphis Belle's crew was the first to survive flying 25 missions in the 8th Air Force so that provides some idea of what an unforgiving environment it was for these young men. Its only about an hour long and very well done.
Thanks,
Bill

Too many Americans are so self absorbed with needing "safe spaces" they can't lift their heads up long enough to exhibit some gratitude.
