2014 white on black M6 GC for sale

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 78,000.00

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
Listing my 2014 white on black m6 gran coupe (dct car)

currently has 46,000 miles. i was the second owner of the car. it was a southern california car and then came up here to me in washington state (seattle area).

Has every factory option available when ordered originally. all packages(comp, executive, drivers assist, nightvision) carbonfiber interior, alacantara headliner, carbon ceramic brakes, interior and stitching options etc. MSRP was $148,000.00. i have the original marony sticker and can supply it to any interested parties.

car was bone stock when i purchased it and have since done a few tasteful mods. nothing over the top.

Berger intake and charge pipes
JB4 with BCM and blue tooth module for data logging and real time gauges
Catless Downpipes
Vorsteiner Front lip
Vorsteiner Rear diffuser
H&R sport springs
Black front and side grills/vents and Vinyl wrapped chrome trim pieces on all 4 door handles
ADV1 20x9.5 front and 20x11 rears. (R888R's on all 4 corners)
Apex Stud Conversion kit to eliminate the stupid factory lug bolts.

car is in mint condition, only damage on it is a few very time rock chips on the front lower portion of the bumper.

looking to get $66,000.00 as it sits with all the mods on it and including the factory comp wheels. or $69,000.00 on the adv1's and R888R's

Forum is not letting me upload pictures for what ever reason so feel free to email me or text me and i can fire some over.

You are about 20K too high on your price for that mileage and year IMHO

I understand it's not according to forum rules to knock someone on asking price ...

I think that's constructive criticism. Posting another car with a much lower price would be an A-hole move. I think they're just trying to help the OP out with getting the car sold.

When you show me a comparable loaded gran coupe with every package and interior option for 20k less I will believe you. But until then I did extensive searching across the US I found 5 14-15 gran coupes with all packages including carbon ceramic brakes and interior options and they're pricing ranged from 73-80k with varrying miles and exterior and interior conditions, and this being the only white on black one I came across . I feel with the mods on the car and including the stock parts 78 is a fair price.

Pictures are available immiedetly upon request via email or text. Forum wouldn't let me upload them for what ever reason.

You are going to beeeee sadddd when you find out your trade in valueeeeee. Oh my lord, if you have no need to move it then keep driving it. This car is worth a max of 58k. MAX

I'll repeat MAX.

Once again for you. 58k MAX.

Please do research before you put up prices. Because people will call you out on them.

Was thoroughly researched before listing. Show me a comparable with the same options for less than 70. No I don't need to sell, just throwing it up to fund other projects if it does move

Here's a GC with just slightly more miles with all the packages being sold for $58k asking price. If you were willing to sell within this price range, I would be interested. Rather buy from a fellow member and enthusiast than a dealer.

you may want to consider parting it out. it seems the modifications add very little to no value in the resale market.

For some reason, M6s have not held their value well at all. They are great all around cars, but seem to lose 30% of their value in the first year, then 20% of the previous year's value, year over year, assuming 10K mi/year. Hence, as the 2018 models come out very soon, this 4 year old M6 with a $150K MSRP will be about $54K. Next year, will be mid 40's. Year after, mid 30's. The following year, upper 20's. Crazy, isn't it?

BTW, sounds like an awesome car. GLWS.

No idea what people are moving to...there are many options. But even worse than the people "moving to" something else are the lack of inherent M6 buyers. They are great cars (assuming you don't get one of the many electrical and mechanical problem cars). Maybe that's the problem. Few people want one that is close to being out of warranty. Too many headaches. Maybe that's why they are depreciating? Maybe depreciation will be worse when the 8 series comes out? Maybe now that that the coupe (and soon GC) are discontinued, they are considered "has beens"?

I don't know. All I know is I have my eye on a very specific M6! OP, GLWS.

Absolutely love my M6 GC. Hands down the best car I?ve ever owned and I had them all. Nothing compares. Anyone watching the cars for sale, grab them and you will love them.

I agree with both of you. Many people on this site want something for nothing. Hold on to your amazing car if you don't get what you want for it! I had mine up for sale for a bit but decided Im happy with my car.

Because it?s not worth even close what you paid for? Blame other educated people on pricing for the fact that the car just is not worth what you want for it?

Makes sense

Mannheim for these is in the low 50?s. I am a realist - everyone should go get some information before posting up something for sale - it?s annoying and counterproductive.

I don't think people are here because they have less time on their hands so if needed the customer should do their research

That being said, the market doesn't really dictate price for high-end vehicles such as the M6 because they are not being sold to the less privileged

Based on my experience, generalizing is a crime and I am certain if he holds on to his car long enough, eventually he is going to find the right buyer who will appreciate the car and negotiate a price with him to purchase it ...

bottom line, for you....dont generalize ....
