New Wiper Blades
I am looking to replace my wipers with a new, high quality set for my '15 650 GC.
Which brand and model should I buy? Thanks |

I recommend shopping for replacement blades/refills by simply using the 11 digit BMW part nbr. Just look up the wiper blades diagram in one of the online part database sites...get the 11 digit number...then shop using that number (aka BMW xx xx x xxx xxx {where x=the actual BMW part nbr}). Make sure you pay attention to the build date/production date column in case the part nbr is different due to some slight change during the production run.
You'll get a page of results of vendors selling the correct wiper blades (that fit without any augmentation)...as well as BMW oe options from online vendors. And you may want to call your local dealers to see if they are competitive with the online market. Sometimes they are.

And often dealers will match an internet price. Just last month I priced a part at the Audi dealer at about $660. I said "is that the best you can do, because I can order it from a dealer online for $530?" There is some second tier price in the system, and they offered it to me for $535. $125 off with no proof from me.

It just dawned on me to check if BMW started offering just the rubber insert/refills for the blades like they used to do? When I did a google search I found this 11 digit BMW part nbr (61 61 7 438 124) for the 2011-up f06/f12/f13.
I haven't verified this number with my local BMW dealership's Parts Dept yet...but if anyone is looking for replacements...and want to save a few bucks...the rubber refill/inserts can be another alternative. Instead of replacing the entire wiper blade...your remove the old rubber from the blade and slide these new rubber inserts into the old blade assembly. It usually only takes a few minutes if it is like my old e38/e39/e53.

Several online sources, including ECS, list that as a currently stocked part described as just the rubber. They run around $20 - $27. |
