Bingo. This car is beautiful, but it's too large on the road. The hood's too high and it's far too long. I've sat in one, and despite the stretch, the roof line still makes the rear seats lack proper head and shoulder (I'm only 5'9). It's odd because I'd buy an M5 before an M6GC, but I prefer the CLS to the E and A7 to the A6.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the new 2-series and 4-series GC.

I think it looks better than the M6 Coupe. In fact, I prefer the 4-door M's to their coupe counterpart. The proportions just look better with 4 doors.

Stunning car.
I'd like to see this chassi with the M550d engine as well.
Hopefully it will come one day.
BMW are doing alot of things right these days, and the interiour are leaps and bounds better than previous generation imo.

Really? One of the heaviest cars that BMW makes -- a pure luxury barge -- is the perfect M model? :\

If I wasn't worried about price and really wanted an M, I would probably choose this over the others. Speed, luxury, and 4 seats. But I guess it all depends on your lifestyle and what is best suited for you.

I always thought it was the little things that made something good even better. The M6 side scuttle just fits perfectly with the car vs. the M5 which just looks like a cheap add on. Well done BMW.

There is only one critcisme I have, but it applies to the to all 6 Series/M6, it is the long front overhang. Other than I think the best BMW do date (until the M4 comes). Of course if it were at least 150 kg lighter and had the NA 5.5l V10, it would be just epic.

That is because the CLS look so much better than the E and the A7 To the A6 too.
But the M5 looks good already in its category.
