The 2013 6 series Gran Coupe has already seen its world premieres at the Geneva Motor Show and Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in the US, but we now get a look at an uncovered production spec 6 Series Gran Coupe in M Sport form, which we've only seen in partially covered prototype form until now.

The M Sport package features the same aggressive bumpers, rear diffuser and sideskirts as the 6 series coupe and convertible. This test car is not wearing the M Sport wheels however. Those can be seen here.

The color seen on the car is Imola Red, which is only available on the 6 Series Gran Coupe and no other current BMW model. Imola Red hasn't been offered as a standard color since the E85/E86 Z4M.

The 640i Gran Coupe hits the US market in early Summer and the 650i Gran Coupe and 650i xDrive Gran Coupe follows later this Summer.

US pricing for the 640i Gran Coupe starts at $76,895 (full pricing info in the link below).

"Imola Red hasn't been offered as a standard color since the E89 Z4M."

That would be since the E85 Z4M roadster and E86 Z4M coupe

The current E89 Z4 only comes in Crimson Red and Melbourne Red

Saw the M6 coupe at the NJ VDC over the weekend. It had just come off the ship. It is the car that will be at the NY Auto Show and it was gorgeous. There was also a M6 convertible in San Marino blue that was stunning.

This car is going to be head turner. I also believe they are going to be kinda of hard to get from what we are told. Excited to start seeing these on the roads

Does it look like it's climbing up the curb to anyone else?

The wheels also don't do it justice. Why would a car this expensive ever be fitted with such sub-par wheels?

Despite its sportiness, that is too much car to handle the color red, even if it were a sophisticated shade. Red belongs on smaller cars!!

+1 on the wheels. It deserves better. Otherwise pretty sweet.

Those headlights alone are horrendous- I can't see past them to thinking its a good looking car. Sad.

I know a lot of you are bitching about the wheels, but I actually like them. I cannot stomach huge wheels. If this car was lowered on those wheels, it'd look even better.

Seeing IR again makes me want to repaint the 1M that I'll be picking up. Hmmm. Ideas.
