I thought even numbers were going to be coupes and odd numbers sedans... Maybe there is hope to continue the m3 coupe! (instead of m4)

I must agree with the many here who just love this car. It gives BMW a true 4 door coupe. 2.8" lower than a 550, that is a big difference.

I was prepared to like it by default, since I hate the a7 and cl-MESS and find both disgusting, but I truly love it and find it stunning. I could actually come back to 4 doors for one of these...

The GC is more the answer to the panamera lineup. You can find a boat load of used/cpo CLSs on the lots but is the abuelo of the bunch. The A7 is sleek and has a nice face and sides but in person it's ass looks droopy and off-putting -why not get the A8 instead? The interiors of the A7 and CLS look more similar but are very comfy. The key here is presence and while the merc started it, the GC will overcome. I do feel the attitude from the panamera turbo s. and if they make an m version of the GC w the diesel TTY sign me up.

The idea/concept, you have to give the 4-door coupe to Audi. Out of the 3, it's the one that actually looks like a bigger coupe and not a sedan trying to look like a coupe. Also, I can't hate on the look either, the rear actually looks good vs. the 6GC which I still hate because it doesn't look like it fits with the rest of the car and the CLS, well they just look ugly and reminds me of a Nissan Maxima. The only thing Audi falls short on is the interior. The 6GC has the best interior IMO because it feels like it moves away from the rest of BMW interiors found in other cars (even though the cluster, radio, iDrive are the same).

Now that's a beautiful looking car. Personally I'm not in the market for a 6:er but hopes are high for a 4:er Gran Coupe.

My 2012 s550 gets about the same gas milage then the 640i. I get about 28-29 in sport mode on a new engine. I think they could have done a better job and I'm quite sure that a cls 550 gets better milage then that. I also think the design is to conservative. The cls 550 has such a striking pose and looks so elegant. I'm quite sure this car will have a better interior but if you only care about interior quality there's the 7 series and S class. BMW shouldn't make all there model line up look the same. I don't buy cars that are made from a photocopying machine. If I did I would buy a hyundia. If BMW continues on this path I'll go to Porsche.
