I was tempted by these lights but after hearing of the troubles. not sure now.
Seems without coding it will throw errors for both rears too.

Having the same issue. What did you code out? I just got bimmercode and cant stand the errors. My lights slso light ul the directional. Pretty annoying.

I heard Bavgruppe is working on an adapter to fix the turning signals coming on when braking but I don't know how much progress has been made. The bubbling/cracking issue I have only hear from that one person and some people are suggesting the user may have damaged them during install.

I been wanting taillights for the 6 for the longest and excited to hear these were coming out but like you all I am still on the fence until the problems are ironed out.

So I spoke with Tom from Bavgruppe. Apparently we have a unique feature on our cars that they didn't predict would affect the way that the aftermarket tail lights would function - Our brake light and our indicators actually share the same light. It just blinks when you use your turn signals

This is why when you brake with the GTS tails the indicators come on. They're just in a different location on these lights.

They are trying to see if there is a way to modify the behavior but it's a waiting game at this point.

Thanks for the update. Aside from that, how have the lights been holding up? I recall some people having issues with some of the lights not working or going out.

I have also heard about a few ppl's inners going out, however, they sent those in and Bavgruppe replaced them. On the new lights they found the issue that was causing this and fixed the inners so they shouldn't have this problem anymore

Great! Does anyone have the coding instructions for Bimmercode. I do not have that Bimmergeeks- protools app. But apparently it can be done via Bimmercode as well.
