Anyone know the best way to keep the Stock Exhaust Flaps Open?
Does anyone know how to keep the Stock Exhaust Flaps Open without a tune?
I've seen people drill holes, and screw them open permanently. I've also seen others pull fuses on newer models; I don't know if that would work in our case. The Golf Tee trick doesn't work. I've tried. Thoughts? |

I know you can do it through bimmerlink but you need to open the flaps each time you get in the car. Not sure why it doesn't disable it entirely. I would get with f10 forum if you don't get answers here. A lot more m5's were sold haha

I’m from the F10 M5 side. Many have done the mod and it’s worked flawlessly for years. Easy mod. Good luck.

I've used the zip tie method shown in the link from Blaxwil (but with a zip tie). It worked well, but I ended up removing it due to too much droning.
