Awaken Performance vs. BM3

Still looking into an ECU tune and I keep receiving this newsletter from BimmerTech about their Awaken Performance ECU tune. Although I’m close to being sold on BM3, Awaken is cheaper and claims it’s more powerful and more fuel efficient. Has anyone had experience with Awaken or done any extensive research? What are the opinions on BM3? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I use BM3 and love it. The OTS maps are surprisingly good and there are plenty of options and flexibility in stage 1 & 2. I also was able to order a tune through BM3 for a DME Tune once I wanted more power. Makes a ton more power, and still averages 25-28mpg on a trip.
My vote is BM3 but I have no experience with the other.

I’ve never heard of Awaken. But I do have experience with bm3 on my N55 5 series and absolutely love it. No issues whatsoever with it. I plan on flashing it on my N63 6 series in the future as well.

Bm3 gets my vote.

Yup, I’ve also seen their newsletters. Been checking tuning options for my G20 lately and I was also considering BM3, but what sells me on Awaken is how straightforward they claim it to be. They promise a quick remote tuning session and they offer some money back guarantee.

The only thing I’m not so sure about is the fact that this is a new product, but looking at their other products they have quite a lot of positive reviews regarding their customer service. Which I find appealing, cause I like the idea of an experienced tuner taking care of the entire installation process for me. Will probably go with them instead of BM3 for this reason.

Love to know as well? I had BPM on my E93 M3 and liked it. I am going with Mission with this car due to some reviews and someone I know had it on their M5. Love to hear about others though.

I still haven’t decided. Actually forgot about it. I’m caught up on catted vs catless downpipes now, which I think I would have to do first.
