This is an available option for my 2016 MY for $50, has anyone added this and is there anything useful?

I added it to my new to me 2016. I like the online widgets, and the sos could be helpful. My partner once locked his keys in the car and we used that to unlock the car as well.

Thanks for the reply. I was curious about that, when I registered my car in ConnectedDrive and download the app, I noticed my car was subscribed to SOS, Teleservices and Remote Services until 2026. I am able to do the functions you mentioned through the app. It also can track the vehicle too. That’s a cool feature.
One thing I can’t do is use BMW Online through the IDirve. So it looks like that maybe the only thing it should add for me? |

That's because they have 2 separate service offerings, each $50
