I do not want to scratch the weather but it doesn't seem otherwise so easy. But 1st things first I want to be sure I have the right product. Got black leather in the other car so I usually used "light" leather products just to keep the leather fresh - stains were never an issue.
I would suggest reaching out to Swissvax. They have quite a few different products for different jobs and I'm more than sure they could lead you in the right direction. Ideally you'll want to remove the stains and then apply some sort of leather coating to prevent it from happening again (they sale these coatings as well).

Thanks I will try that.
Being ventilated seats (though very little ventilation can be felt.... when on) some suggested not to coat them in order to avoid obstructing the little pores/holes present.

Finally got around to getting my stock 343 wheels powder coated. I went with "Weston Grey" which has a semi gloss & metallic finish. Definitely liking how they turned out. Just enough contrast to the Silverstone finish. Prior to install I applied two coats of Gtechniq C5 wheel armor as well.

Man. These PSS 4S tires are legit! I cant believe how well they hook up on my stock competition car. I'm sure they'll try to break loose on me when I go stage 2, but once I "re-learn" the car at that point, I'm sure I'll be fine.

The infamous "slow walk back to your car" photo

Finally got around to snapping some decent photos of the M. Also had a chance to install the CF diffuser from cnautofans - amazing quality, service and shipment time.

CF diffuser looks great!!! Goes well with the bigger exhaust tips. Are you planning any other mods? Maybe trunk lip spoiler?

Thanks! I’ve been on the fence about the trunk spoiler - some days I want it, some days I like it without. I’m going to buy one and test mount it and give it a nice long stare from various angles and go from there. I will also have the tail lights tinted with a very light film - just enough to give them a deep ruby color. But next mod here in about 2 weeks is a tune.

Please report back on your tune. Been thinking about a tune for my car as well. Would love to hear who you chose, why and the install process.

Will do. I am going with Mission Performance for the tune. Spoke with the owner a couple of times and I just feel comfortable with the expected performance along with the process. I have to order a ethernet / OBD II cable first so that I'll be able to send in the stock file & then upload the stage 1.5 file - stage 1.5 being slightly more aggressive than stage 1 and also calibrated for 93 octane oppose to 91. According to MP, expected power is 640whp 630wtq - TBD. Will report back once tune is completed.

Did you change your exhaust set-up? And install the catless DP's? Really want to hear some drive by clips. Flo1989

Haha, I'm a little over the top with my cars condition so don't feel bad. Thanks though.

So the axle back has been installed. Not sure if you heard that or not but its a clip of it on page 2 post #37. I don't have any drive-by clips though..I'll have to bug my girlfriend and go out to record a couple. Definitely an improvement over stock but still yearning for a more aggressive note. I'm thinking I'll wait until Black Friday to buy the DP's as my go to shop usually runs a sale on parts & labor during this time. Once installed, I will have videos for you.

Edit: So you made me want to do a drive-by video now lol. Had someone record it while at work. Nothing crazy just a 1st to mid 2nd gear pull. The person who recorded it said how much louder it sounds in person compared to the video so I guess you can take that into consideration. Nonetheless I think it sounds decent on film.

Lol nah, I'll never do that. Two reasons; One, I too often do high speed pulls and have read multiple stories of people experiencing shake in the front from running spacers. Two, I like the front having that "tucked" look. When you force the wheel out by adding spacers, it makes it appear less low. So looking at it from this photo/view, it gives the illusion that the front is more narrow and widens out as it goes to the back - ideal for me.

Hi Everyone. I'm new to this forum and would like to briefly introduce myself (temporarily k/a "the Duganator") by thanking y'all for a nice thread. This is my "1 reply" to become a member and I have many interesting topics to share with everyone. Hope I can be a good contributor after 30 years of driving only BMWs (mostly M-Series). THANKS AGAIN.

Performance mods....finally.

I bought a Dragy unit so that I could start logging my performance numbers prior to doing any signifcant modifications. Highly, highly recommend checking it out - simply another way to log gains other than dyno's and "butt dyno's."

So, my best 60-130 in stock forum can be found below.

[IMG][/IMG]

Fast forward a month or so, I purchased and installed my Stage 1 tune from Mission Performance/Tuning. I was able to get back out to test my 60-130 in similar conditions and the results are below.

Closer to 1 sec gain than not, I'd say that's a solid increase from the tune. I do however feel like I could crack high 7's with a little warmer weather and less DA. Plans are to go stage 2 with catless DP's and gapped plugs in March...The goal is mid to low 7's 60-130 at that point.

Edit: For anyone not familiar with 60-130 times, for comparison, stock hellcats run mid to high 8s.

Just wondering what year CLS AMG did you have?

Nothing has been installed yet because for one, I decided I want the RPI ram air scoops so I'll knock that out + the grill install at the same time. And as for the fender vents, I want to wait until I have the windows tinted and chrome door handle strips wrapped simply because I think it'll look best if done simultaneously. This will take place in the next two weeks.

The car has actually been in paint the past week as I had the whole front bumper redone. There were visible flaws - scuffs, scraps etc. that I could not stand, but now it looks brand new! The orange side markers were also sprayed and a new OEM plastic 3 piece lip was mounted. The old one was beat and made for a serious eye sore.

I also installed new decals on the calipers as the 'M' had faded off. The decals I purchased were slightly bigger than OEM, but I think it works well as these brakes are massive. It was a bit difficult to "install" for someone who is OCD with this crap as each strip had to be applied separately, but with a great deal of patience, it ended up working out.

Better view from a few feet back..

I ordered the Megan Racing axel back a couple of days ago, so I'm hoping to have that installed within the next week two weeks. Winter plays a part in the hold up, but whenever I can, exhaust clips will be provided.
