Question on Injector failures
I have read that the 14 F06 M6's are covered by a service bulletin for Injector failures, but the bulletin I find related the S1 B01 02 18 is tied to high pressure fuel pump failure.
My car went in today for what I believe is going to end up being a bad injector trying to see if it is affected by a BMW Service Bulletin covering the part. |

I replaced coil packs and plugs 6 months ago when I put the Mission tune on the car along with new air filters. Getting a drivetrain malfunction cylinder 7, car idles fine drive fine at part throttle, but give it more than 25% throttle and it goes into Drivetrain Malfunction and misfires on 7.
If it were a coil it wouldn't drive normally, and same if it was a bad plug. Thinking it is fuel which points to injector. I'll know tomorrow. |

These cars are covered under a 100k mile warranty and 10 years for injectors. My problem though was a failed coil pack. These were brand new Delphi coils I installed in August, one failed by January.
