This is is the one to get IMO. Stunning spec.
It's in Canada though. I'm in Florida.

Won't the shipping and transfer be a nightmare?

Ah you're right, it is a bit far. Might be worth reaching out to Talaldinho to see what's possible? These cars are rare and if you have a spec/colour combination you like then you may be waiting a while for one locally with the right mileage/condition. Best of luck!

US registration of a Canadian car can be simple. From a Porsche experience, you may need to write into BMW North America corporate for certificate of emissions and and safety.

Once they submit some type of form to you, you present it at the border and upon registration.

The process is a lot more straightforward because North America cars are typically manufactured to comply to all three local markets and to conform to the strictest emissions (California) and safety (NHSTA) requirements.

Did the heat do much damage to the interior? I'd say you are pretty lucky it was contained to the garage.

Very sorry to hear about the fire. Glad everyone is doing okay. Excellent opportunity to jump to an M6.

All m6's after 2015 have upgraded (Ugly) headlights and center idrive display and software.

The competition package, which isn't always about the 25hp power difference, has upgraded steering ratios, sway bars and control arms. It sits slightly lower than stock as well.

They both have the same options minus the competition package. With that said, I purchased a Non-comp M6 as I was planning on modifying my car regardless. Both cars are missing Nightvision and Carbon Ceramic options but have all else including B&O.

Between the two that you posted, I'd easily go for the 2016.

The initial assessment of the interior looks good. How we the interior does have a strong smell of smoke and not sure if they will be able to get that out.

The exterior is yellow and no longer white, so best case it just needs a paint job.

Love the car but I've had it for 3 years and maybe it's time for something new... and faster

Although this 650 with the bm3 tune is crazy quick

@MMMM6GC Flying Ace it's a simple process.
sold my previous M4 to a local resident in Michigan. As long it not 5yrs or older you don't need additional tests. Also BMW warranty is transferable.

In general, Canadian vehicles are cleaner than US, they're also flooding the US market due to the currency rate.

Man, it guts me to see/read this, as well as the flooded cars posted by 823.

I love your onward and upward attitude. Place an obstacle in front of us and we'll surmount it. Place an even bigger obstacle in front of us and we'll surmount it just the same, only with a little more effort.

I await the post where you've acquired something even sexier and faster than the last.

Was the fire started in the Aston?

Its very fortunate the fire appears to be contained in the garage. No loss of life.

We have a friend that lost their house this summer to a garage fire that spread to the house and caused major damage. No one was home, but did loose a pet.

No the fire started from the batteries in the Golf Cart. So sad to hear about your friend losing a pet. I would be devastated if something happened to my dog.

Found a replacement today. Decided not to get another 6 series and just picked up a 2021 M5 Comp. The car is incredible!

I had a very rare Ducati 999R that the bike shop is going through the restoration process now. Hopefully it's able to be saved. Not sure what the next car will be but I won't be in the home for about six months so not looking to rush on the weekend purchase. I'm thinking I'll go back to Aston Martin as it's always been a dream brand of mine. Maybe another Virage or a 2013+ DB9 convertible

Fantastic choice! I love the M5 and that color combination is drool-worthy!
