Low mileage 2013 m6 or high mileage BMW m6 competitions

I am settling on buying a V8 and i think I prefer M6 to F10 m5.

I am looking at two cars a very a low mileage (27000 miles) clean 2013 (pre LCI) M6 gran coupe: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-det...cation=at_cars

OR a high mileage (56000) 2014 BMW LCI 600 HP M6 competition gran coupe and fully loaded: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2014-14-B...K/293741716760

Either would be sharing my daily driving with my m240i and would be doing about 10,000 miles a year. I also prefer the interior colour of the 2013 and is cheaper by 5000.00

My head prefers the 2013 low mileage one but my heart prefers the LCI competition

Reliability is important as extended warranty 1595/year with 250.00 excess or 1987/year with 100.00 excess

Which would you pick? and why? Thanks

If I had to pick? I would pick the 2014. But I would prefer to pass on both cars and wait for a lower mileage competition package car

I agree with above. I wanted a low mileage LCI comp car, and I waited until i found it and am glad I did. But I noticed the 2014 has a lot more cosmetic mods, which usually, not always, implies to it most likely had performance mods and might have been beaten on a little more. Their service history is very important as well, low mileage and frequent oil changes are key. Good luck!

I'd be a bit wary of that second one, looks to have some "questionable" mods, who knows what it may have had done (e.g. tune) and with higher mileage too, I'd stay away.

The 2013 looks a bit cleaner, but the front end looks battered (look at the chips on the grills). The bumper/bonnet will have been touched up/resprayed if the grills are that bad. Which is weird as the mileage is low. Quite a lot of wear on the seats too for a low mile car. Plus it's likely a London car, I'd prefer to pick a car outside of London which has had less of its life sat in 5mph traffic.

I'd wait until the right one comes along, e.g. look how clean these are in comparison:

Second car isn't an LCI by the way. I do like the Champagne leather and they went with the sports seats which at least match the style of the rear seats in the GC!

Thanks all.

What makes an LCI? Are they only from 2015?

Just my view but they both do look as if they have had a hard life, I would avoid and consider an AUC from BMW

The second example from MMMM6GC looks good with BMW warranty in place

I'd pay the extra for a cleaner example on a car like this. The BMW warranty will save you the amount you quoted in your first post too

Thanks all.

What makes an LCI? Are they only from 2015?
There are plenty of posts on this forum about differences between LCI and pre-LCI, but easiest to identify externally is the headlights.
I almost forgot that there were 2 seat options on offer - all AU cars came with Comfort Seats, with or without massaging. To be honest, I prefer Comfort over Sports, if not for looks they are pretty amazing, easy to sit in one place from Melbourne to Sydney without any issues (that's +7 hours, 800 km/500 mls) without breaks...

Comfort seats also allow you to have ventilation as well (which is very rare in the UK to be fair)

The sports seats have very slightly deeper side and leg bolstering but don't have the independent upper back angle adjustment and of course the headrests are built in.
