Replaced the auxiliary brake light just now. Wondering how I obtained that crack. Not even a smudge on the trunk lid. Oh well...

Lowered Two weeks ago on H&R VTF with adjustments slammed to the ground.
12.5 mm front & 15mm rear spacers installed two days ago. Barely noticeable in the front. Might go square set up with 15mm spacers. Heard some guys are running 20 mm in the rear. Wanted to know how it is like. |

I xAdded today... (undid xDelete). XDelete is pretty fun, but jeez, having the traction control light flash at me when just nearing WOT Going 100mph?? I’m just Stage 1, brand new tires, and I guess the whole point is to allow the wheels to spin a little for more dynamic driving, but I was already missing the ability to have insane acceleration and not worry about losing grip at all.
I guess I’ll go back to RWD when I’m missing the challenge of pedal control and giving it just enough to not lose traction |

They're in the correct position. I don't think they are fitted in some countries, but here in Australia, all M Sport models, no matter what series (i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and X Series) have an M badge on the front guard. My F06, F33 and F15 all have them in that position.

Looks like the 640d badge is a bit more to the left of say a 640i or 650i. I think its because of the d. I did a comparison and also an overlay photo. I think i can get the back of the d to line up where rhe i would be.. then work left from there.

Did you notice your car running hotter after installing DP's? Mine was running a tad bit hotter when I am driving more aggressive, just curious if this is normal with catless DP's or if missing those O2 cups are making that big of a difference. |

I've not done anything to mine in a while. Some of my coding (namely unlock when I turn the car off) has reverted, so gonna have to try to do that again. And I ordered a spoiler from eBay in April that should be delivered Thursday, so gonna try to pop that on assuming the weather clears up.
You pull that thing out of storage yet so I can hear that sweet turbo spool? lol |

The space between the 640 badge and the "i" or "d" is the same...but because the "d" itself is wider than the "i"...it pushes what's before it further to the left. You can see an example below...I typed "640*i" & "640d" (removed the spaces) & "640*d" in three separate excel cells...then centered them to the right. The only way to make the "640 d" emblem the same width as the "640 i" is to reduce/remove the space between the 640 & d.

No problem...would have hated to see you go through the excercise then discover there's no difference (unless you reduce the space between the "0" and the "d").

Where you got 'em ? I would like to have ones in my red/black-themed car.
And to topic - I took it to the service, some other minor updates but also Eibach springs are to be installed, hope it comes down .... but not too much. Here is the starting point. |
