BMW 640i 2014 ACC adaptive Cruise Control retrofit

Hy Everybody!

I would like retrofit the adaptive cruise control function in my 640i F06.
Can tell anybody which parts do I need for this retrofit?
I know tis is not cheap, I know not easy...

My car has not KAFAS!

My informations :

I need : 1 x sensor with holder, wirings, steering button set, maybe another DSC unit, i know need a calibration after install the new parts, but what I need more? possible can I get a link from same process?

I heard ACC1 qnd ACC2 too, what is the different? Which will be good for me?
My car build 12.2013. At the moment has only Head up diplay function...

Thank you very much...

Hi Guys, I looked into retrofitting ACC when I owned a 2014 - just not possible. Parts alone would be several thousand dollars - you would need a new steering wheel, for example, front radar sensors, brake actuators, on and on. For some parts installation is not possible at all (e.g., to apply brakes - shops will not take the liability).

I have adaptive cruise control on another vehicle, not worth it in my opinion. I turn it off as soon as I start my car.

Yeah I agree. To be honest, I have ACC and I don’t like it as much as I thought I would have. I really do prefer the standard Dynamic Cruise Control. If I had known beforehand, I would have not purchased it.

The system is very good in Stop & Go traffic, but in regular highway/free way driving, the braking is a bit too harsh/sensitive in my opinion (which accelerates pad wear) and overall is not the best calibrated system. I use it sparingly or during late night travel when there are less travelers on the road.
