CEL after Dinan stage 1 install
I have a P010a Mass or Volume Air Flow "B" Circuit CEL after my Dinan Stage 1 install on my 2014 M6. I have rechecked all the connectors and mAF connections and nothing is sticking out as an issue. Anyone see anything similar? I disconnected battery for over and hour and also have cleared the codes twice and it comes right back.
Any help would be appreciated. |

I opened a support case with them a few days ago but they have not come back with a response. It looks when I use my Schwaben code reader that one of the MAFs isn't seeing any lb/s input data when the Dinan is connected. When it is not, it reports in fine. I have plugged and unplugged connectors and don't see any bent pins. Used connector cleaner/lubricant all to no avail. Hopefully they get back to me soon.

Hey GostaFly ,
Did you manage to get anything out of Dinan ? I am currently having even worse problem with my stage 1 , ECU is causing misfires and completely killing engine. It began when , car sat with battery flat for couple of month ( was away) , charged it and the hassle began. Eventually I disconnected it and the issue went away ( now driving stock ) Contacted Dinan, they said that most probably ECU is dead, has to be replaced... On the other hand they might try re-flashing it, however nobody wants to bother. What is your experience ? |
