I hear ya. Richard Wagner is widely considered to be the original head banger. I have a wide taste in music too. About the only genre I don't have any interest in is "modern country". I just can't get into that sound.

Ride of the Valkyries was quite a piece and was way ahead of it's time,I like pieces like that. A favourite of mine is Stravinsky's Rite of Spring which caused a near riot when first performed at the Champs-Elysees Theatre ballet in 1913.

Some bands just age well. I can listen to their songs over and over for years and it never gets old. Such a good band. Very few can equal the vocal chords of Steve Perry. Neil Schon is an awesome guitarist as well.

This one was okay, but like their most recent stuff, like "Girls Like You" and especially "Memories" is just bad. They shouldn't have gotten so "pop" in my opinion.

Now this here is an example of a great Maroon 5 song.
