jewish or not... it's not the name that was bothering me...

but no matter now, because he is not bothering me anymore...

what's bothering me is that you're speaking for me that i didn't like him because of the name... it's not because of the name.

Anyways, that's all, i just wanted to set the record straight...

Please carry on.

I loved the review! and the shout out! It is really a nice review, smooth and relaxing where the guy is actually doing a review.. Top gear and other shows or magz latest reviews all seem rushed and hurried without giving any real info other than track material, it's all about smoking tires. First time I enjoyed a review in two years. I haven't seen any other video made by Rosenthal yet, but would've been a perfect review if they pushed the car a little. Good job at editing the video; it suited the car very well.

One more thing.. I know now that luxury and sportiness is the way of the future.. Gotta give Mercedes some credit for choosing this path for almost 10 years ago.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

You know what? The 6 GC is the only '4 door coupe' that doesn't have a big ass. Like CLS, A7,Panna.
The only car that I recall that's similar is the Aston Rapide.
That is something.

I had never seen or heard of Mr. Rosenthal before I watched this, and I have to say his video seems more of a commercial than an objective review to me (hey, who wants to point out anything negative about a car?). Maybe all his reviews are like this.

I've seen and driven the 640 GC and agree it is a beautiful car. I found it much more engaging than the F10 5 series. My complaints (keeping aside the fact that apparently the US will only get the 8-speed auto) are mainly centered around the price given what you get. The car I drove was approximately $100K. I can purchase one that has the options I want for about $90K. A similarly equipped A7 would be around $70K, and is quicker than the 640 as well. Having driven the A7, I'll say the dynamics are spot on. The S7 will cost around $86K and be much quicker. I guess I don't appreciate large and heavy $100K cars with 6 cylinder engines...

All that said, I think the 6 GC is a high point of current BMW design. The M6 GC will be quite a car (with, I'm sure, quite a price tag).

P.S. What is the "Beemerpost.com" that he mentions - a BMW motorcycle discussion board? ;-)

Hey 6Post. I am a new member on this forum. This is my first post. I didn't see an formal introduction section so I'll just use this one since I am a newly minted owner of a 2013 640i GC. Just a few facts about me. I live in Silicon Valley, married a year this November. Purchased my 2013 640i GC on 7/29/12. Had previously been an MB owner for the past 5 years. My most recent car was a E550 coupe that I sold privately to a close friend last week. Regarding this particular review. The guy is a little gushy for me but for the most part he did a pretty good job reviewing the car. Personally I love my car. With the help of friends and such I think I have finally gotten a pretty good feel for all the features of the iDrive. Pretty impressed with the interface. I think I have managed to get all the external devices working and have music coming from the hard drive, front USB flash, iPod, SIRIUS, Pandora and Stitcher. Look forward to learning more from all you BMW enthusiasts. Attached is a few PICs of my car. The photos were taken with my iPhone so they are not the best.

I like the fact that he didn't continually bitch about one problem. So many reviewers today do that.

I love Michael Douglas aka Gordon Gekko! So I don't mind the comparison to Rosenthal.

Great review! Way to go Rosenthal, we need reviews like this. To much negative energy now a days in car reviewing. Very nice camera work indeed.

Thank you. The official BMW description is Carbon Black Metallic. It looks black when it's cloudy or at night and a deep blue when the sun shines or is under bright lights. Its a Bi Polar color.

How can you not love the guy who said this:
“BMW's are addictive, Once you've owned a BMW, Driven A BMW.. Many cases you can’t live without it.. .. When you start to think about what it feels like to be in control of a magnificent machine Its.. Its right here in your hands "
That is a quote from one of Steve’s other videos… And that is how I feel every time I start my car and drive off…

The guy's cool. So are all his videos.
