Embarrassed myself today

Brought the M6 in to the dealer because my new brakes are shimmying under light braking. The tech and I took it out for a spin so he could see/feel the shimmy... anyway we’re in this warehouse parking lot to turn around and I somehow manage to bottom the car out on this dip and literally almost get stuck.

I felt sick hearing that scraping noise as he got out and spotted while I backed up . Wow what an idiot thing to do lol!

Anyway luckily I dont think I damaged anything, just scraped up the exhaust a little bit and about sheer a bolt head off. Will wait to se if he finds out I broke something lol.

Figure you guys would get a kick out of my stupidity.

You won’t be the first or the last to find yourself in this position but respect for openly admitting you’re an ‘idiot’. I do hope any damage is restricted to a single sheared bolt and a dented pride

Is your M6 lowered, or are you just a bad driver?

Haha same! Still can’t believe I did it...

No, stock ride height. In my defense it was down pouring rain and I had no idea where I was going. Tried to turn around and didn’t realize the dip had a damn speed bump at the top. Wasn’t painted or anything. Still dumb on my part lol.
