E-85 With stock downpipes

Hi ,
I currently have stage 1 plus tune for 93 octane and m performance exhaust , other than that the car is fully stock .
I rememmber i saw in another thread that its not recommended to run E85 with stock downpipes !!
Is that correct or i can run E-85 with stock downpipes ??
And if i can run with E85 , Do i need to re-tune the car for the E85 or the stage 1 plus tune is enough ??

It's not recommended at all to run more than 1or 2 gallon of e85 at all with these cars.

Can’t remeber specifics but i believe it had to do with injectors/pump not being able to keep up. I had it happen before with like 5gal e85. Car went into drivetrainmalfunction and fuel pump was cause. Basically you need more e85 fuel (~+30%) to equal the same amount of energy as regular gasoline. Under WOT conditions you can lean the car out with not enough fuel.

You can run 3-4 gals without issues, but it has to be on a full tank of gas, not 3-4 gal with 6 gal of 91-93. I don't know about long term on the cats or sensors, plugs, injectors but once in a while you can dump in 3-4 gallons with 91-93oct, you'll be fine and will pick up another 20whp or so.

I would not advise E85 unless you have a tune that is setup for it.
Which there not any tuners doing this. I think Gintani claims a tune but you need to confirm with them directly.
There have been reports of serious engine issues and failures due to too much E85
There seems to be the E30 mix rumor circling around but I don't know what the long term effects if any are.

Misinformation.

Mission Performance tuned my car so I can run a few gallons of E85 without any issues. Again no one is saying fill up the whole tank with E85 but if you mix in 3 gallons with 91oct you will pick up some power and it's not going to damage anything because it is diluted by the other 18 gallons of 91-93oct in the tank.

No, not misinformation. The E30 mix I mentioned would be equivalent to 3/4 gallons
