Window Tint Question

Anyone tint their M6's?

Did they have to take off the door panel due to the auto up feature when the door closes?

What type of tint did you guys use metallic, ceramic etc?

Also, what do you guys do about the dot matrix?!
I’ve never dealt with this in the last, and the tint doesn’t look great over the dots

My tint is overlaying the dots

No, door panels where removed. I got laser cut metallic I believe. Tint will cover that “matrix” of dots. There’s nothing to do about that but go to a qualified installer that can cover it best as possible.

I would highly recommend you get ceramic tint. Mine was around $450 all around including the windshield.

15% on the sides
5% rear
50% front

No issues whatsoever.

Where in FL are you located?
Maybe I need a better tint shop
The tint isn’t laying over the dots so well

I have 3M on my side widows But it doesn’t cover the dot matrix well.
