It depends, you will have issues if there is a significant difference between the rear and front tire diameter. If they are not close enough together the car will not shift right or consistently.

Nice, thanks for posting Mr. M6.. Seems like 275 front would be fine too then since its a closer ratio..

I made the switch to those exact tires/sizes (4S plus 10 mm over stock width on factory 20" wheels) a couple months ago. Overall a positive - no issues no problems no errors no rubs - better traction with the rears hooking a bit better and slightly more sidewall protecting the wheels from curb rash if I happen to get too close. Will keeping running these sizes.

I was running 285/35 front and 315/30 rear with no issues except rubbing in the front. I replaced the front with a 265/35 and that fixed the rubbing, the 315/30 fixed the traction problems.

Easily on a 10.5" wheel. I would not go past 305 on a 20x10 and 315 max on a 10.5

People have been running those sizes on those widths for years and years without any issues, including myself.

Presumably a 10 mm spacer on 275 front tires would be the equivalent to running a 285 size tire. As mentioned above, a 285 size in the front creates rubbing issues when turning.
