M6 centre console on a 640d

Morning.
Does anyone know if the centre console carbon trim from a m6 will fit onto my 640d?
I know there is some silver trim for the adaptive stuff on the m6 but I’m sure that can be unclipped.
Has anyone done this before if so any pics?
Cheers in advance.

Interesting...on the parts diagram, they visually appear to be the exact same base piece:

It appears your silver trim and black button tray unclips, as does the M6's. They are separate from the gearshift unit itself:

Google bmw f06 dash wrap. There is a video of a guy removing the aluminium from an m6 centre console and you can see the holes.

I see differences between the trim on the left and the trim on the right (M6). The M6 trim has a larger opening where the gear shift handle comes through...the drink cup cover (#3) appears to be smaller on the M6 vs the other cover (#2...which is grayed out on the M6 diagram which means that it is different that part #2) and you can see in the drawing that there's more trim along the left & right side of the cup holder...so that indicates, too that the covers (#2 & #3) are a different size.

Then there's that extra hole at the bottom of the M6 trim.

you have it incorrect. The trim on the left is the M6 DCT trim. The trim on the right is the M6 6MT trim. Sorry, I had a bad link in my last post, I fixed it. Here is the 640d trims:

The M6 DCT trim appears to be the same trim as the standard 6er trim.

Hi, a correct OEM carbon fibre option is available for the standard gran coupe, it was released along with the new Sonic Speed Blue colour last year.

Thank you for the correction. I see what you're saying.

Here as mentioned a couple of posts further up the variant from the Sonic Speed Blue model.

Looks pretty decent:
