M6 tune - what is max boost pressure?
Hi,
I just bought my second M6. My first one had a tune but I sold it last year and might not remember the power delivery details. This second one might have a tune on it already. I can read the boost on an app. What is max boost on a tuned car vs a stock car? Thank you. |

welcome back.
This is all based on my limited experience with BM3 and JB4 so other tuning methods may vary. If I remember correctly, MAP Sensor on the intake manifold are rated at 2.5bar. I think the max boost with those might be around 22psi. You can use the JB4, a piggyback controller, for boost and I think it might be able to get you in the 25psi range. If you change out the 2.5bar MAP sensor with a 3.5bar sensor it can enable you to eek out a lil bit more.
