Just saw this and all I can say is what a little bitch. First off, how have you not blamed your parents for allowing the pic to be taken and allowing use of it in the first place? Second, why now? He must be broke AF and this is his way to try to get a payday of some sort. I don't think there is a person on Earth other than this clown that remembers that album cover and thought...hmm...porn

This will be a "nothing-burger". He has no standing. If he were to have a legal-leg to stand on, it would be to sue his parents who (undoubtedly) allowed, and were paid, for this to happen. Nothing to see, don't feed the troll, go get a Pop Tart or something.........

Ironically, from a legal standpoint, he does have a thin case to stand on. His legal defense is - this is child pornography because of the bill that was photoshopped into the album art.

What's gross is he's capitalized on his infant photo numerous times over the years. He's replicated the scene many times. I'm sure he was compensated for it.

End of the day, his parents accepted the $200 payment. They're NOW claiming in 2021 that it's 1. Child porn and 2. His parents claim they never signed anything back in the day.

He's only going after each of them for less than 150k a piece so it's clear he's just hoping they'll pay a little bit to make him go away. Fuck him and the lawyer he's hired. This saga has been going on for many years now and he's repeatedly hit up Grohl SPECIFICALLY (probably because he's got a rep of being a stand up dude) and has been hounding them for more money forever now. This is old news - just the lawsuit is new lol. Did I mention fuck Spencer yet? And his attorney?

Quick story time:

The year after this album was released, I bought a used Nevermind CD from a local mom & pops music store here, that coincidentally also sold sports and music memorabilia. The guy that owned the place had connections and had all sorts of items signed by famous people. You can probably see where this is going. Yep, bought this CD with Kurt's, Kris's, Dave's and Courtney's autographs on the inside of the jewel case booklet. There was another signature, but I have no idea whose. Oddly enough, Dave and Kris signed the cover, the next flip of the booklet had Courtney's, and Kurt's signature was larger than everyone else's and was on it's own page. (If anyone knew/understood his personality, I'm sure this is no shock) Fast forward a few years, the kids mother and I move into an apartment. The first night we stayed there, both of our cars were broken into. It was late when we finally got our stuff inside and we left a few boxes locked in our cars overnight. The box that contained that jewel case was stolen. I feel like I lost a piece of my soul that day. I paid $35 for signed CD back in '92.

Exactly what I thought. At least 7 individuals listed for roughly $150k each. The whole thing is laughable, but to list the drummer pre-Nevermind??? He had nothing to do with any of it.

I thought this too. He tried to reach out to Kris and Dave throughout the years with no response? What did he expect? Long story short, he most likely feels like he is owed for being the iconic image of a generation. Another ponder to consider, if Nirvana had been a shit(tier - Sorry was a huge fan, I feel comfortable saying this.) band, would this be happening at all? Personally, if I were Dave or Kris, I would simple suspect that if he reached out, he was looking for money. It's not like he hit them up and said, "Hey, I'm a musician and want to jam for the experience" or something similar. I wouldn't have tried to contact him either.

I was one of those kids that identified with this band and was a huge fan. Now that I'm older, have watched a few documentary's, researched the band a bit and understand people a little more.....Kurt was a complete ass. Still love the music, especially the stuff that there were no videos for or that got airplay, but realizing how Kurt was and some of the lyrics, just makes me shake my head. It's funny at how someone who stated they felt uncomfortable, being the voice of a generation, and hated the publicity; jumped in front of a camera every opportunity he had.

Exactly. I can see it now, someone wanting to sue the government of Belgium because of the famous "Manneken Pis" statue in Brussels. I visited that spot a few years back and was surprised at how tiny the statue and surrounding area was. Lol.

More importantly I was shocked at the vulgarity of this statue and have suffered from PSTD ever since.
